Thank you for your interest in The Alchemy Studio and my fine silver jewelry.
Each piece is hand made and unique, incorporating found textures, patterns and semi-precious stones. Whether you purchase a pin or pendant, a ring or bracelet, I created it myself in my small studio in rural western Massachusetts.
I've been working with a wonderful material called precious metal clay (PMC) since 2001. While I have also been a studio potter and enjoyed some modest success, I found that after my daugther was born I was never able to make it up to my rustic studio in the neighboring town. It became difficult to find the time to spend a few days firing a wood kiln—and keep my day job, family and sanity.
I now work in a small home studio, and can complete pieces in a day instead of a week. My inspirations are natural textures from sea creatures, stones and other organic material, as well as vintage flatware and printer's blocks. Making silver jewelry has become a gratifying pursuit.

I have studied with several leading PMC artists and I teach PMC classes in and around western Massachusetts. For more information on classes visit my news page or sign up for my mailing list.
